AAPI VICTORY FUND OPPOSE THE MILITARY ACTION AGAINST PEACEFUL PROTESTS AND IMMIGRANTS IN LOS ANGELES, CA.

AAPI Victory Fund and its board stand in staunch opposition to the deployment of active-duty Marines and National Guard troops and ICE raids in Los Angeles, CA. This  marks a dangerous and unlawful escalation by the federal government, targeting immigrant communities including our very own AA&NHPI community and peaceful protestors alike. 

These immigration raids are not legal deportations: they are illegal abductions that lack due process.

This usage of the military is not for public safety: it is a deeply troubling  overreach of federal power to underscore a dangerous political agenda and sets a precedent for military power weaponized against our own citizens.

This isn’t about border enforcement: it is a calculated political assault meant to instill fear and suppress dissent. And it will be used again and again if not stopped now. Let’s be clear, this is not normal, this is very dangerous: it  is an especially urgent threat to the safety and civil rights of our AA&NHPI community and Americans everywhere. 

AAPI Victory Fund stands in unwavering solidarity with all immigrants and communities that are under attack. We stand with the Californians who are raising their voices and protecting their neighbors, as well as local leaders, organizers, and workers on the frontlines. We urge our allies in Congress to act swiftly to check this authoritarian overreach and protect our neighbors.
